In the UK these things are known as "average speed cameras". I guess this a better translation than "section control" (f)

The dutch name according to wiki nl than clicking on the translate button in the left column delivers:
The English name is SPECS according to wiki eng
According to the Dutch OM it is section control

According to Wiki Eng:

Citaat:
-Trajectcontrole (The Netherlands, First country to use "fixed average speed check")

-Section Control (Austria)
-Tutor or Safety Tutor (Italy)
-Safe-T-Cam (Australia)

So "Fixed average speed check locations in The Netherlands" would be a better title I think.

The Netherlands, First country to use "Sustained Stupidity", a.k.a. Duurzaam Debiel, where the infrastructure is demolished purposely

The Netherlands, First country to use "Speed taxes"

The Netherlands, First country to use "Conviction without prosecution in a democracy"

I feel utterly ashamed and embarrassed :fp:
